Upset and needing help and thoughts
So today I traded my sig saure p250 9mm para tactical for a female high contrast albino 100%het pied..deal was to sweet to pass up, but now it seems as though shes showing signs of RI.. She has no bubbles, lots of tongud flicks, looks healthy, but she has been opening her mouth like shes trying to put her jaw back on place after a meal. I really dont want to give her back but at this point in time I cant afford vet bills. Other then boosting humidity and heat is there anything elce I can do?

Keep a close eye on her, and see if it gets any worse. It could just be her being stressed out....

raising the heat and humidity are both good steps, I have heard that some people use F10 in a nebulizer to "medicate" there snakes. I have never done it but I have found this:

If shes only been in your possesion for less than a day i highly doubt the RI is your fault. Did you trade with someone you trust or know? If not i doubt he would agree on a tradeback or to pay for the vet bills for you...

Thanks, it seems more of a stress thing cuz shewas being housed in the same tub as a pied het albino that was her brother and he had no signs of illness. the tub setup they were in had belly heat, newspaper and a waterdish the size of a med-lg dog dish. Only thing that was off was the tub had about an 1/8 inch of water soaking the paper.. Could that have been the issue?

Yeah I just got her about 4hrs ago, the guy I got her from is a fairy well know guy in my area, he has been really good with this issue, and has said to bring back tuesday and we'd go from there. Just sucks cuz I want to breed her to my spi:rage:der this year...

Have you given her mouth a good check? She might be trying to work something out of there, like a piece of bedding or a tooth.

Bad sign #1 and #2. Any well known breeder should be smart enough not to house 2 snakes together. Depends on how long they were in the water like that but id bet my next paycheck thats what caused the RI. Personally seeing those 2 things would have been a deal breaker for me. I dont like doing business with people that dont take care of their animals.
