Fastidious snake?
Okay... is this weird?
My juvi bp is very regular about eating, and well, the rest. Usually about 2 days after eating, he pees, and a day later comes #2. But the weird thing is, it's really easy to tell when he's done it...because he always poops/pees in his hide and then when he's done, refuses to go back in the hide!
He actually seems to actively avoid the soiled area. If I remove the dirty bedding or clean the waste off the hide and set it back in the tank, he'll go right inside. I know to look for poop if I see him outside the hide before it's close to his next mealtime...
Today I caught him wrapped around the outside of his hide with just his head inside as if he was trying to hide without being in there. Curious, I picked up the hide and sure enough, a very fresh stinky mess. :P
I didn't know snakes were that caring of their toilet habits. Anyone else seen this? Or is my snake just a prima donna? :D

I have some that seem to avoid it, and others that don't. wether that means anything or not I couldn't say it is interesting though.

That's a whole lot better than the Mojo I used to have that liked to "paint" with it while it was still fresh...

Most of mine avoid their stink bombs, but as said I have a few that will redecorate with brown paint.:)

Mine do the same thing. Theyre pretty simple minded creatures but some of them may be smart enough to not play in their poop lol

Hmmmm...I guess maybe it's just like people then (or dogs), some are neat and some are clean! :)
