Okay so the radiant heat panel is installed!!!!!!!

What do you think the perfect "all-around" temperature is for a Hog Island Boa? I'm thinking 77??

Is 88-90 good for the hot spot?

Also, is anyone else's hog as picky as mine. Cinder held out on me for an ENTIRE MONTH and would not eat. It didn't matter what I did with the thawed mouse. Nothing was good enough. I even left it alone with him all day long and he wouldn't touch it. I was scared he was starting to get thin so today I broke down and bought a live fuzzy. He ate it IMMEDIATELY. So frustrating because he has eaten thawed for me twice now but has absolutely REFUSED it since. I can make the mouse dance all I want, dangle it, whatever, nothing. I can't believe he held out an entire month until I got him a live mouse. How long was he going to refuse to eat for? :-P I am relieved he finally ate though.

Hot spot I would make 94, ambient I shoot for 80 to 82. Hogs don't eat that often, so it doesn't surprise me he held out for as long as he did. The other thing you need to do is provide for him what he wants. Hides, humidity? Post some pics of your setup.

What do you mean they dont eat that often? Im interested in getting a hog one day due to the more manageable size so any of your input is appreciated :)
