    Incubation question
Hello, I'm new here but not new to reptiles.

I have a question that has been getting to me and I thought I can ask here.

I have an old reptibator that I have used in the past with great success.

Can you use the reptibator, or any incubator for that matter with NO egg boxes?

I have done this successfully but it is not recommended. When I did it I only had one clutch of eggs in a hovabator incubator. I kept them in a plastic shoe box with no lid, and vermiculite. I had to repeatedly add water to the bottom of the hovabator itself to keep the humidity high enough.

You can but I wouldnt recomend it because if the animal gets caught in anything electrical or somehow escapes. But like Simpsonke said the box holds a lot of the humidity inside so you will have to keep adding water to keep it up and check it constantly.
