    New Addition! False Water Cobra.
I have been wanting to get into this species for a while now. Finally got my hands on one. Really enjoying her so far!

She is a False Water Cobra. (Hydrodynastes Gigas)

    Named her Bermuda. :)

Its a bit weird that a species is called False "something", its like calling a Swede for False Norwegian !

sorry for being off topic, damn fine snake! :)

FWCs are very cool, and the big adults scare the bejesus out of me! Which means I might have to look into getting one of those someday :D

lol mike, I've told a few close friends who don't know much about reptiles that my big female hognose is a "death adder" or some made up viper species when I introduce them to her. She hisses, puffs, hoods, and false strikes sometimes for good show. You should see their eyes when I reach in and just pick her up, especially if she does a quick false strike :D

on topic: Great pickup! Please share update pics often, we don't get to see this species much on this forum. I'll probably never keep them, too many other species on the wish list ahead of them, but that doesn't stop me from being a little jealous!
