    Female Adult Spider
The opportunity has arisen for me to purchase a 1200g female spider. She would fit in good for future breeding projects but I'm just wondering what you guys think is a good price for a spider that size? Thanks for any input and advice :D

I would probably pay somewhere in the $300-$500 range depending on quality for a 1200g spider

Hmmmmm..... he's wanting $750. Thinking that might be a little steep. I could see 750 if she was over 1500g and a proven breeder.

I have seen 2000 gram proven breeder female spiders going for $850.

at $750 it would have to be a darn good looking spider for me to go for it.

All depends what she looks like......$500 would be more on the lower end but if I like her looks then it could go up from there. Also how old is she and has she been bred before, those answers could up the price too if she is proven and layed good clutches?

She is one good looking spider, I've seen her in person. But I'm still leaning towards no on this deal unless he comes down on the price.

Check kingsnake and fauna, $750 is about average for a female spider that size.

For $750 I would want her to be a proven breeder, otherwise I can't justify that price tag even if it is more common price.

No she's never been bred, and that is the main reason I'm thinking 750 is too much. If she had produced clutches in the past then I would have no problem paying 750. Plus she's only 1200 grams right now and that's a little on the small side for breeding, so even after the 90 day QT, I doubt she'd be ready to go this season.

    That's what I'm thinking too.
