    strange behavior/ constipation
it has been about a month since i got my boa it is 2 or 3 months old. the snake is housed in a 55 gallon aquarium the humidity is kept around 50% temps are 77 cold high 80's hot and i have 5 hides in the tank (i thought the tank was a little big) as well as some climbing things. so the boa hasn't defecated in two weeks it also almost never uses the hides it is more often than not on the highest branch in it's cage or soaking in it's water dish once in a great while it may be hiding in the aspen bedding. is it normal for a boa to almost never use hides? i've been feeding it The smallest live mice i can get at petco, about the size of hoppers, to feed it.

Some boas use hides, some don't. As far as going, it'll go when it's ready. A month isn't that long.
