    BP Urination Question
Okay so I bought a normal adult female about 1950g from BHB last month and have been keeping her on paper towels while in quarantine. Anyway, from what I've noticed, whenever she defecates/urinates, she releases ALOT of fluid, and I mean alot to the point where all the paper towels are soaked and I find her cage to be completely soaked. Even her water bowl is yellow from her urination. Is this normal with adults?

An adult male I used to have did that... To my knowledge there are no associated health implications with fluid urination.

Okay just wondering because it was just so much fluid that I never expected to come out. :o

I know, I've always been so used to more urates and less fluid, I was surprised when I first got my male. It's kind of a headache to clean up too...

All of my snakes have fluid urination as well as urates.

That's exactly how I felt!!! I'm just used to cleaning more urates than an actual puddle urine. What was more annoying was that she did this the day after cleaning day!!:rage:

    Just think,

If you use aspen in your normal tanks all that liquid is getting left in your enclosure when you spot clean the urates.

    They always do...

I used to be in the habit of cleaning the tubs on Wed night. Thur mornings I would wake up to multiple 'gifts' left by the Boys over night. Happened pretty much every time. So, one week I decided to roll back my cleaning night to Thur...yeah, Fri morning they all left me a 'gift'.

    Somehow, they just know...

I would take all the urine as a sign that your bp is well hydrated. Mine go alot of liquid urine too. Not a bad thing at all.
