BP not coming out after eating
After my BP ate almost 72 hours ago he has stayed in his hide all day and night. Usually right after lights out he does a little cruizing. Do your bp's usually hide for a few days after eating?

Big meal? My animals are usually plopped in one spot for a while after chowing down

Was it a large meal? It could just be trying to digest. Are ur temps right? Or BPs are really sneaky! He could be out when ur not watching

Sounds like he's digesting. There's a reason we advise not handling them for a couple of days after they eat.

Is your warm side warm enough to allow for proper digestion?

He could also be getting ready to shed.

Sounds pretty normal. My BP is in his hide almost all the time. It's a treat to see him out. :P

Mine disappear for a few days after eating, longer if it was big meal. Other times mine seem to not show their faces is when going into shed. I am sure that you are fine. Just make sure temps are right.
