Help with Building my own rack system
Hey guys, I am looking to build my own rack system. I want 2columns and 3rows that hold cb 70 tubs. But also the option to fit juvenile sized tubs like cb 30's in their for as of now I would not be using all cb 70's.
Any advice on dimension would help.
    THANKS

Well all CB70 racks I have seen, pull out the long direction. With heat tape in the back this makes it very difficult to use this as a multi size tub rack. If you want interchangable tubs, I would go with 1 cb70 rack and one rack to fit 41 qt sideways or 2 16 qt tubs per shelf. As to dimmensions, I always buy the actual tubs before I start cutting up lumber.

If you buy a vision rack you can have it hold cb70 and hatchling tubs if you want. They are designed to be versatile. If your building one and you want everything facing the same way youd be better off doing 41 qt instead of cb70s. The cb70 is a great tub but not the best for sliding out sideways. My freedom breeder racks with cb70 tubs come off the wall 3 feet so you have to take that into consideration.

So I would purchase the 41qt tubs, then cut the lumber to fit 2 columns of 3 rows?
