    Question about Lighting
I am using Zoo Med Daylight Blue Reptile Bulbs in my hoods, for my BP and my GTP during day. I keep losing them every 4 to 6 months they burn out. Please review my list of snakes and tell me what lights I should be using? I also use Zoo Med Nightlight Red Reptile Bulb in GTP and Gopher at night. and Zilla Night Black Heat Incandescent Bulbs for my BP and Blood at night. I use a different light for day use for Blood and Gopher for the day Zilla Day White Light Incandescent Spot Bulbs.

As of right now all my snakes are in glass tanksm but of plex glass over parts of tops of the zila sliders scrren top to control heat and humiatiy and doing a good job.

Please give me a thoughts that might be better and cost less and last longer. The olny blubs I keep having to replace are the Blue daylight bulbs and I am doing the 12 day light and 12 night.

Please any thoughts I just can not keep replacing these bulbs every 4 months, any help please

    Thank You

    Terrance

I'm not sure about the other species, but I know balls don't REQUIRE any supplemental lighting. So you might try a CHE for heat with no light.

Most snakes are nocturnal and don't require special lighting. Lighting is more of a lizard thing.
