    Clay substrate??
Has anyone ever used the ZooMed clay substrate for a kins snake?? The description says good for burrowing and it can be molded. I was thinking of using just aspen for the actual bedding but the clay to kind of build up some features along the back and sides of the enclosure. Any thoughts on if this would be ok?

Never even heard of it. In my own opinion i wouldnt use it. I stick with coco fiber and cypress mulch. Trying new things can always be risky.

I just use aspen...the people that had my snake before me had it on reptile bark. That just seemed horrible. Walmart sales aspen really cheap. It also last a while, they can burrow away in the aspen. Good luck on your choice.
