    Need Help
I have a pair locking right now. They spilt the water bowl and the newspaper they are on is soaked. But they are locked and I dont want to try to move them. I think i read it can mess up the male. Any ideas. The paper is quite wet.

Huh, Ive never had this problem. Alot of people take out the water bowls when introducing pairs together. I would start by taking out the water bowl and removing as much of the wet paper as you can and get a towel and dry and soak up some water if there is alot without disturbing them too much (dont worry about putting new paper down untill they unlock and you separate). Some dont mind if you intrude on them while in the act and some other do, so your just gonna have to find out. If they do separate which I doubt, they will lock again so dont worry about it. But its not good to let any snake sit in a wet tub for an extended period of time. Or if its not that much water and its not cooling down the tub or tank you can just wait till they unlock which can be anywhere from a couple hours to a couple of days. Def dont try to separate or move them Just work around them and they may just ignore you.

I would just wait till hes done locking and remove/clean the paper. They'll be fine :)

I would say let them be until they unlock because i would think thatpulling them apart could mess up his hemipenes. But i havent bred yet so my experience is limited. Plus you wouldnt want someone doing that to you lol.

I have kids. They ruin my plans all the time.

I soaked up all the water i could, but its still really wet. They are all sprawled out so i cant do much. I just dont want to risk scale rot or something. I dont know how long they can soak without ill effects. I dont want to have his hemis mess up either though.

They will be fine, dont worry about it. they will probably be unlocked by tomorrow and you can clean it out.
