First shed since ownsership. I have a question.

So my 8-9 month old female 'ball' has been getting ready to shed for awhile now, and finally did it sometime last night. So today I decided to check on her since she never came out of her hide. She had finished shedding, but it was in 3-4 pieces. I've been battling with humidity levels since the beginning, and am thinking about switching to a tub. There were also some patches still stuck on her head, and a little around the tail, so I soaked her for an hour and rubbed off the remains with a damp cloth. Didn't seem to bother her at all.
Anyways, along with the shed skin, there was also quite a large pile of feces(poop, urine, and some mucous as well which, to my understanding, is normal. My question is about the trace amount of blood. Not much. Just a very small amount on the damp paper towels I put in her hide.
I asked someone else who has a BP and they said sometimes when shedding, the skin will pull at the vent on their rear, possibly causing a small tear, and thus a little blood.
Just want to know the community's opinions, and would appreciate any input. Thanks.

I do on occasion see a little blood after a shed, but it's just a few drops. as long as you got all of the shed off and work on raising your humidity next time you should be good

Because I have to use a heat lamp to get the temps correct I'm also battling with with my humidity. Something I have found that helps me is to cover half the screen top with a wet towel. I only have 1 working humidity gauge (I still need to get digital ones for I'm using dials), but it reads at 65-70% for me on the cool side. Hot side is probably still down to 30-40% because of the lamp, though. The towel is more so a temporary fix until I can find a more permanent solution, but it might help you with your shed until you find a better solution as well. Hope that helps.

I just bought a very large water bowl at petsmart. More surface area of water = higher humidity, basic physics. The great part is, it does all the work and keeps the humidity at 65% in my cage. I only mist the cage during shed to give them a little extra help :)

A pip or two of blood after a shed is not uncommon.
