feeding mice w/ hamster and gerbil food
Is it ok to feed mice with hamster and gerbil food? I was just wondering because every pet store i go into have tons of hamster and gerbil food but only one or two types of mouse food that comes in small bags.

I would just go to a feed store and pick up a 30-35lb bag of Mazuri Rodent Chow lab blocks. It will be much cheaper on your part and more nutritious for the mice. Try Tractor Feed and Supply, they usually have things like that. You can always look in the phone book and call around. Supplementing with a little high quality dog food in addition to the lab blocks helps too. Feed stores also have wild bird seed and mouse food in bulk.

Hope this helps a bit. :)
