Hoping to pick up a baby BCI in the next couple weeks, but was curious what's a good size tub to start a baby in?

I have my little guy in a 3x2x2 pvc tank and he's doing great! No issues at all. At first i thought it was going to be too big but he's very comfortable in it.

Boas aren't as timid as BPs so they generally do ok in larger enclosures so long as they have a couple of hiding spots. All the same, I do recommend something about the size of a 20 gal long tank. A 27-32qt tub is a great size for a baby. And they should do fine in one of those til they are about a year old or so.
Their 2nd year, they do well in the cb70 tubs and after that they should probably be moved to their adult enclosures which should be no less than 4x2 feet. :gj:

I have my new girl (she's about 18 inches long, 8 weeks old) in a 28qt. It's huge for her, honestly! But as mentioned, boas have higher tolerance for bigger spaces and it shouldn't cause any trouble. Just might want to plop in some nice comfy hides. ;)

Alright, thank you all. Guess I can just use my 29 gallon tank, already has a heating pad and everything:cool:.
