She has a hair fettish

My snake has an absolute love of my hair. She wraps herself so tightly in that sometimes I have a hard time extracting her. She also seems very curious about my face Always climbing up my chest from my lap. Is this normal? For those of you with longer hair do you have the same experience?

i don't have long hair but nellie loves my hair anyhow, especially if it is in a pony tail.

That's a cool picture! That's exactly what I'm talking about! Every now and then it's nice to be normal. Ok maybe not normal but not so abnormal...hehehe. I had to take Lily down because she is constantly flicking her tongue around my ear and neck and IT TICKLES!!! I get kinda nervous I might jump and scare her and or she might think hmmmmm that ear looks kinda tasty she's got two I'll only eat one.....

Yeah you gotta love the little wet willies from those tiny forked tongues that sends goosebumps right down your spine. Sadly my hair is the shortest it's been in . . . 20+ years.

You're not kidding about goosebumps. It's all I can do to gently remove her before I start giggling like a school girl. :giggle: :lmao:

mlededee that pic is great!! My BP does the same thing, i guess she likes the heat up there so she crawls all the way in and coils up on top of my head lol. But to stay on topic i don't not personally have long hair but my mother does and since she loves to hold the snake Nyxx has the chance to enjoy some long hair hehe. And yes she LOVES it, she is constantly just going through my moms hair, perhaps they think its grass or something? hehe

My hair is not as long as it use to be, but all my snakes seem to like my hair...

I'm going to try to let her go crazy in my hair again tonight. I like her sitting up there but it just tickles soooo much. (maybe I'll wear a turtleneck or something) Anyone have a love bite result from having them around the neck?

Nope, i have mine around my neck pretty much all the time, last summer when it was warm enough to have my girl outside during the day i would just put her around my neck and go out for the day. Nyxx love to be around my neck and i trust her to the point of letting my mother do it as well. She have never even " Looked" like she was about to bite or scared to the point of coiling back. I think i got lucky because ther isn't anything that makes her scared. Even a dog jumpin on my lap while she is on my wrist or neck does not even make her flinch heh.
