FEEDING BP now or wait

Hey everyone,

just wondering about opinions, i got my ball on thursday and she was fed every sunday, i was told that i should leave her alone for the week let her settle in, but does that mean not feeding her tomorrow and waiting till next sunday?, she is really calm and roams about, im able to pick her up move her around while improving her living space and she doesnt seemed bothered, she does look funny when breathing her middle of body goes up and down fast but i dont know if thats normal as this is my first bp/snake or if it is stressed.

You can try feeding tomorrow but don't be susprized if your snake doesn't eat. if your snake doesn't eat tomorrow then wait until next Sunday before trying again.

Your snake sounds a little stressed which is normal for a new enviroment. Personally I would wait 5-7 days from arrival to feed and avoid handeling until your snake has eaten at least once. Be sure to check out the caresheet and feel free to ask anyother questions you might have :P

I might try feeding her just to see, she doesnt seemed stressed except for the breathing, if she continues to breathe like that and does eat should i bring her to vet? and do you recommend feeding in seperate container or her home enclosure?

Just feed her in her habitat. Feeding in a separate enclosure is a myth. All it does is stress your snake out right before feeding time which in turn could cause her to not eat. :D
