    new ball feeding
I offered my new ball a mouse by shakin it infront of his face cuz he seemed very energetic and hungry. He struck the mouse and constricted around it and killed the mouse but js left the mouse there. So now i have a dead mouse in the middle of my snakes tank and im wondering if i should leave it for a while or take it out. also is there a reason y he did this?

If the mouse is dead leave it overnight and toss it in the morning if no eaten.

As far as reasons not having much information regarding your new animal it can be anything.

Not settled in yet, stressed, being disturbed etc.
