    D. Hydei maggots/ question
so i made a new culture kit for my flies, and they bred, which took me by total suprise. i was expecting it to happen at some point, but figured it would be a longer process. i fed my spider yesterday, and i swear i didnt see any signs of the flies reproducing, no pods (if thats what theyre called), no maggots, no nothing. i just went and checked on the snakes, and out of the corner of my eye saw a buch of maggots squirming around, and thought "WTF?" lol.

anyway, my question is, should i seperate the adults from the larvae (or whatever they are), or just leave them. and what happens to the brown shells the maggots are coming out of?

just leave them in the container, once you have plenty of new files, start a new culture with about 1/3 of the new ones, if you handle it right, you'll never buy flies again
