Update On My Little Darling and New Pics!
    Helloooo there everyone. :D

So, my girl has now eaten for me twice and tonight, she finally warmed up enough to let me play with her a bit (without threatening to strike at me every two minutes...lol).

I have been monitoring her carefully over the past few days because last week when I finally got her out to hold her for the first time, I noticed some popping sounds coming from her nose when she breathed. She has not shed since I've had her, so I didn't think it was that, and I panicked thinking..."Oh no...an RI!!?!?" :omg:

But then I noticed she didn't make the sounds while in her tank, and she ate for me no problem on Tuesday. So tonight I got her out to check on her and heard no more popping noises! I grabbed her head and looked in her nostrils and there may be a bit of stuck shed or something else...not too sure...so I'm keeping an eye on it. But no strange noises, and no mucus/slime/drool around her mouth. I managed to open her mouth a bit before she snatched her head away, and I didn't see anything that looked out of the ordinary. Regardless, she's under careful observation. Any more signs and it's off to the vet with her!

Anyways, sorry to ramble...here's what you all came here for in the first place. ;)

I absolutely adore this snake. Despite being flighty and shy with me last time...this time she was happily exploring my head/shoulders, and inspecting my face, hands, and anything else she could get close to. She let me grab her head and inspect her, and lets me just love on her without so much as a flinch! I love her. <3

Hope you all enjoyed her and I wish I had a better camera than the one on my iPhone. ;)

I love boa's.... They are my go to snake whenever I want to play with something in my collection. I sure love your little girl. She looks great.

I really wish everyone would quite showing all these great looking boa's though. All it does is make me want to get more....

Aren't boas the BEST? You have a beautiful girl. The popping noises may be hissing.

I adore my boas. I doubt if I will ever buy another ball python...lol. Unless it's a high white pied or albino pied...I want those terribly still. :P

I REALLY love the feeding response of the boas. I love not having left overs. ;)

I still love my bp's. I just love the behavior of my boa's more. They just love to be handled and are so much more interactive.

    Thank you! :)

And no! Lol. I went out of my way to make sure there was no bra in the background this time. :P The best part about that, was that it wasn't mine. Good times. :D

I know you are worried about her having an RI but I wouldn't worry too much just yet. My baby girl started showing signs of an RI, I swear I even heard her cough or something similar at one point. I immediately made an appointment with my vet. It was only a day or so after I heard the weird cough noise that I got her in and by then most of what I saw had disappeared seemingly overnight. My vet didn't do a culture but he did swab the back of her throat because it looked like she had some mucus back there but there weren't any alarming levels of bacteria, they weren't above what would be normal levels. He said she might have a very mild RI that would have most likely gone away on its own and most owners wouldn't have noticed the minor signs I picked up on. So long story short, you might just be hyper aware of her right now and she may have had a minor RI that went away on its own.

Thank you Kinra. That makes me feel better. I was terrified when I thought she had come down with one. My first snake (ball python) had to be put down due to viral pneumonia that turned septic. :(

But this little girl seems quite hardy, an I've got my eye on her. :gj:
