    Scales looking strange...
    Hi all,

I was just handling my albino. I noticed one patch of scales looking awfully odd. Some scales are curling inward and others just don't look 'spade' like anymore... He's on newspaper substrate and temps are 91(h)-78(c). It doesn't look like a burn or scale rot... I've never dealt with either before, so I'm basing all my assumptions on google photos.
What do you guys think? Are my worries misguided?

Doesn't really apear to be anything threatening. Is your Bino out growing it's hide?

Actually, yeah. He fits in his hide to the max right now. On feeding days, he may lift up the hide a little on one side.

I've heard of BPs with curled in scales like that due to hides being too small. It looks like it will correct its self. Might be time for some new hides :gj:

It's just bent scales from being in a hide for a while. It'll straighten out fairly quickly if you increase the hide size, or even if the snake just sits in a different position for a while. Nothing to be worried about!

This was taken with my cell phone camera, so it's a little off in color and quality.
