Scales looking strange...
Hi all,
I was just handling my albino. I noticed one patch of scales looking awfully odd. Some scales are curling inward and others just don't look 'spade' like anymore... He's on newspaper substrate and temps are 91(h)-78(c). It doesn't look like a burn or scale rot... I've never dealt with either before, so I'm basing all my assumptions on google photos.
What do you guys think? Are my worries misguided?

Actually, yeah. He fits in his hide to the max right now. On feeding days, he may lift up the hide a little on one side.

I've heard of BPs with curled in scales like that due to hides being too small. It looks like it will correct its self. Might be time for some new hides :gj:
X2 I have also heard of this in overweight snakes :P but I dont think that is your problem just time for new hides :)
