    Little Hogg finally ate!
So my little punk Hogg Island male has been a pain in my ass since I purchased him in oct. Well, finally after much encouraging and plenty of pep talks he finally ate his first mouse all by himself. Dropped it in and he did all the work! I am thinking new pics are in order and will post some a little later (at work).
Just wanted to share! I was very excited and very few people who actually care to hear about it lol :)

I am hoping it is not, boas are suppose to be trash cans. I am debating now, how many more live feedings I should give him before I attempt ft.

Grats on him eating for you, what a relief! I'd personally give him a month or two of solid feeding before trying f/t, the little bugger was off feed so long I'd want to fatten him up a bit before pulling the old switcheroo.

    Congrats!

On the other note... I would wait until he's had a few successful feeds and is filling back out first.

Indeed, go with whats working for now. Get him back to regular feeding before trying the el-switcho.

Thanks all, yeah he is about 8 months old and weighs 100g, he has some weight to gain me thinks. I will keep offering live prey for a few months and let him gain some weight before attempting anything else.
