    My diffused Corn
This is my first snake, a diffused corn. I think it's a girl, though I'm not too sure. Shes crazy. If I got in the room and turn the light on, she'll come out of her hide and see what I'm doing. She never stops moving, and is a little under 1.5 years old

    What do you think?

Thanks! She's beautiful. She shed not too long ago, but shes still growing fast. When I took her out today to get that picture she was already looking duller. Right after shed she looks more red. It's crazy to see how her patterns changed since a baby. You can see her stomach barely has any white, but when a baby it was basically all white.

I like corn snakes though, they are entertaining. If I was going to get another one I want a Lavender. I saw an adult female Lavender corn snake and it looked really amazing.

Check out the Plasma's, their really cool. Ben Siegel just sold one in auction for around $50. If i was to get a corn i would have deffinantly bought that one, im just more into rats.

Thanks for the tip. I don't know anything about captive rats, but do they get huge?

I'm curious because once when I was a kid I caught a black rat snake on a cliff in North Carolina, and it was definitely a giant. Not by python standards of course, but this thing was at least 7 ft long. It's head was like a computer mouse lol.

Yeah theres some black rats known to reach 8ft (but its very rare). But some usually range from 5-7ft just depending on what you feed them. Im getting my leucistic rat switched to rats asap, rats make snakes grow ALOT quicker.

Only thing about Rat snakes is that their nippy little sob's, but if you dont mind getting bit a few their really rewarding. I just love their "fiesty" personalities.

    Here she is:

    Wow she looks great!

I like snake morphs that are white, but retain the dark eyes. very cool.

I can believe an 8 footer, that rat snake I caught was the second biggest snake I've ever seen in the wild. First was a ridiculous eastern diamondback I saw in SW Florida. I obviously didn't even get close to that guy .

Rat snakes seem really cool though, they were my favorite critters to find when I was a kid. I could see myself owning one someday possibly.

Well seeing as corn snakes are a sub species of rats you kinda do own one lol :D

But i get what your saying heh, you gotta get a leucistic or an albino radiated rat, imo the coolest looking rats in the trade.

I want to bring some new morphs to the trade by 2013/2014. I have a few cool breeders ready to go. Rat snakes just dont get enough love heh

I just googled albino radiated rat snakes, they are cool looking. In florida they had yellow rat snakes, are they common in the pet trade?
