Update on my green

Valentines day was the first day of feeding this guy since he arrived...and as you can imagine i was NERVOUS. We all know annies are picky eaters but i had some faith seeing as my lil guy came from a trustworthy breeder that raised him right, non the less, Shawn did a good job raising this fella....need less to say he took his first meal with NO problems what.so.ever.

I think he ate live before but im proud to say i got him converted to F/T on the first shot.

Very nice. As far as being picky eater's? I wouldn't know anything about that. Maybe when there super young like your's? When I got my granite yellow's I bought them unseen. So, I was expecting 1.1 24" babies instead I got 3.5' babies. I haven't officially weighed or measured my annies lately? But, I know there over 4' by now,lol.
They have INSANE feeding strikes so be prepared. Today was a feeding day and my male shot across his tub in the air and took the med f/t rat from my $1 plastic grabber! Scared the crap out me! Lately, he likes to stalk then strike and coil. He was obviously super hungry today. :D

Yeah you couldn't see it in the video but i jumped a bit lol kinda caught me off guard, wasn't expecting a quick strike like that at all haha!

I plan on starting his handling schedule this weekend but i may wait untill i actualy get him on a good feeding schedule, the last thing i want to do is stress him out. But other than that hes doing great.

Well, that's good to hear. I did finally get a reponse from your guy.
I'm sorry did you say that the yellow anacondas he has are 1.1? Since, technically I have yellow anacondas. I might go with 1.1 green's. Does your guy do the snake thing for a living or is this a hobby?

Idk the sex of the yellows but he actualy owns his own reptile shop, so technically he has a business and a hobby i guess lol.

Im sure he can get you some greens, when i was on the phone with him last he was talking about some imports coming in soon to miami. He said he might get a couple. He cleans em up good though and gets them eating quick. I mean mines an import he raised and look at him lol flawless.

All in all Shawns a great guy and knows his stuff.

Btw i think i saw you comment on his facebook page, i sent you a message cause i thought it was you. If so add me bro.
