    Help Please
Hey guys ive been trying to convince my mom and stepdad to let me get a mini freezer to store frozen rats in since they are about 1/3 of the cost i have to pay for live. Yes i only have 2 snakes at the moment but i plan on adding more down the road so id like to get them eating f/t. Ive offered to pay for it numerous times but my stepdad seems to think itll raise the bill by like $50 a month. Can someone tell me approximately how much it would cost to run this mini freezer per month for electricity:
    Its a 3.5cu ft freezer

I don't know for a fact but it shouldn't cost any more than a few bucks to run that unit. I guess it also depends on where you live and all. The appliances sold to are usually energy efficient. There should be a tag on the unit telling you how much it will cost to run that particular unit for a month/year.

    Good luck.

Yes thats my point lol!!! Ive offered to pay for it soooo many times. In fact i have even offered to buy one of the larger ones for them to use downstairs and just give me the smaller one in the fridge for rats. We have plenty of space for it in my basement lol.

Even if i had to pay $20 a month for it the amount of money i would be saving would be alot lol. Live rats from the petstore are expensive!

I have a 7.0 cubic foot chest freezer and it costs me roughly $30 a year to run 24/7. A 3.5 cubic foot mini-freezer should be about $1.50 a month at most. As mentioned above, there is a tag on new appliances that list the yearly run cost.
