Well accepting that there can be great variaety in dispositions of individual animals, those two in general don't have a very cuddly reputation. I would not consider for a moment getting either without first being able to interact with it. Scrubs can grow to a fairly healthy length. That being said I did find a pretty tolerant gold-phase white-lipped python at the MARS show (at the LLL table in fact). I'll snag some pics and post a bit more later.

Ok im also interested in a carpet or a rainbow, i really love the Hogg Island Boas but i can't find any at a place that sells them or even 100% . For the reason is that i love the color the redtails are but i don't want a snake that large either i know the Scrub pythons get that big it's my dream snake. Thanks Aaron

Hey cool right over there on the line. I've got juvenile coastal and jungle carpets - all the adults I've come across seemed pretty tolerant of handling - but as little ones they are a little nippy (and have great aim lol). The coastals can get to an appreciable length (~9'max) - not nearly as much as scrubs. We don't have any boas - though everytime I see a real dark Argentine it's that much harder to resist.

Promised a pic of the white-lipped, so here's Midas:
