I tried to place an order with them to pick up at a show - two voicemails and I never received any reply from them. If you are ordering that much, it might be worth shopping at www.rodentpro.com. Their prices are too high for small orders (IMO), but the per-rat $ drops dramatically if you fill up the standard shipping box they use. I ordered over 300 rats from them a couple of weeks ago and got them when promised, packed well with dry ice, labeled with size, and all separate (no rat-cicles all stuck together).

I've used www.bigcheeserodents.com and I love it. The bags are vacuum sealed and the prices per rat are pretty cheap. I payed .85 apiece for 20 weaned.

thats who i order from, and i use the "box space" to the maximum potential, but i pay as much for the shipping as i do for the feeders. Iv never had a problem with them (rodent pro) but if i can get twice as much feeders for the same price im gonna try.
If rodent pro was going to be at the show, id def. use them..... Im just starting to wonder even if i do get through to them, will they pull through for me.. not a good track record so far.

Iv checked their prices also, but when you get into the large, and xxx large, it adds up quick. the kicker of it all is, iv looked at all of the "local" shows coming up, and the price of gas about equals out to shipping cost:rolleyes: go figure. LOL

Personally I don't like Mice Direct's product. They sell at the Repticon shows here and the rodents are dirty, crammed in a bag, srawny and not vaccum packed. I usually buy from Bushhill Rodents when he comes to town. If I have to order it's from BigCheese and shipping is reasonable and product is vaccum packed nicely. They are also healthy.
