GTP breeders and dealers and other resources?
My dad and I salvaged an abandoned aquarium today and it is in the perfect condition for housing a green tree python. Good amount of vertical space, decently wide, it'd make a fantastic set up, all that's missing is a top for it which shouldn't be hard to find. I've always had a great interest in keeping GTPs but thus far, only have experience in keeping ball pythons, corn and indigo snakes so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to point me in the right direction to some good info sites on GTPs. I've found a few places but their information is pretty general and I'd like something a bit more extensive.
I was also wondering who the reputable GTP breeders/dealers are out there. I've seen some sold on Backwaterreptiles and a few other miscellaneous reptile sites but they don't seem to ever have a particularly wide variety or their animals are always out of stock.
Re: GTP breeders and dealers and other resources?
Oh, that site looks really good and they've got a lot of animals listed!
And I've just put an order for that book, thanks for the info. :)

No problem. Do lots and lots of research on them. They can be a little more advanced than balls as far as husbandry is concerned. A very different temperament/behavior as well. Definitley gorgeous animals though.

Yes, I have heard that they can be a bit of a handful at first for those who aren't as acquainted with some of the more advance pythons out there but once you get them all settled and what such, they do splendidly.
It's just a matter of getting over that whole learning curve I would presume.
