    New guy with a question!
First off, I'm new to this site but not to pets/reptiles. I have had turrantulas, garter snakes, and multiple mammals. My dad has had several bp's over the years and i have helped him take care of them. Last week i got a baby corn snake from petsmart. I have tried to sex it and from what i can tell it is a female. I named her Phoenix(i know i mispelled my username-lol). Her nickname is Phee. I also have a few breeder mice.

Now here is the question: Ive read that you can feed baby snakes a lot and they won't grow fat but instead they'll grow longer, faster. Is it okay to do this? All I mean is that I'll feed her more often, not up the amount of mice per serving.
(I fed her 3 pinky mice 4 days ago and i'm planning on feeding her tomorrow. she has already defecated.) Thanks for any comments! :)

Babies will spurt since they're growing and I have never heard of an overweight baby snake. I wouldn't feed too often or too big of meals all the time personally, I would feed a correctly sized meal once every 5 days for babies.

For example, my little snow corn female was 33 grams when I got her back in November and as of Feb 6th she's up to 70 grams on fuzzies every 5 days. At first I did one fuzzy per sitting (when she was the tiny 33 grams) and she's now up to either 2 fuzzies per feeding or a mouse hopper every 5 days. She's growing like a weed and is healthy and IMO I'm not over feeding her.

If yours is taking multiple pinkies okay I would step her up to fuzzies.

Okay, sounds good. I did get some fuzzies after i saw her down all 3 pinkies. Stupid petsmart said she was eating 1 or 2 pinkies a week. i think she could've eaten 4. lol

Aye I would move up in size and go for an every 5 day feed schedule IF you have a scale I would weigh her and feed 10-15% every 5 days or go by about as big around as the largest section of her body if you dont have a scale
