    Heat mat size
    Thinking of building a new rack. My question is: would a 7 watt heat-mat (11'' x 6 '') be enough to heat a 28 x 16 x 6 tub? My room temperature is about 70-72 f.

if you are building a rack I would use 3 or 4 inch flexwatt regulated by a thermostat of course

Flexwatt seems awesome, not sure if its available here in Sweden though. And the rack will only contain 5 or so tubs so it isn't very big.

So do you think the heat mats will work?:)

probably, you can cover 1/3rd to 1/2 of the bottom of the tub with a heat mat

Yes, but in this case I will cover less then 1/4. Is that enough?

that is a little small but should be fine if the room temperature doesn't drop below 70 degrees F (21 degrees C)

Ok, cool. I think I will cover the back of the rack to keep more heat in.

On a sidenote, did you write the temperature in C aswell since I'm european?;)
