Long story on that one ... at face value, probably not. Kevins (NERD) line of caramels seem to throw regular albinos sporadically. My caramel male had an amel sibling and is therefore 66% het amel albino. The other lines of caramel (to the best of my knowledge) do not throw amel albinos. I think at this point there is little interest in figuring this one out because the belief is that a double homozygous caramel x amel albino would just look like an amel. But I know that Randy is all over this one, so maybe one day we'll have an answer!! :D (Sorry Randy, couldn't resist!)

Not enough data to say that yet. A couple of dud breedings does not cancel out anything! Time will tell!

Re: Albinos - **PIC**
We might get our answer on caramel and albino compatibility this season, well, kind of. I read a post by RDR somewhere that he is breeding caramel to lavender albino this year. Of course we don't know if lavender albino is compatible with regular albino but it will be interesting to hopefully find out if caramel and lavender albino are alleles and perhaps someone will finally get good eggs from lavender albino X regular albino to fill in the entire chain.

Very nice pictures! Those are awesome snakes! All this talk about genetics is giving me flashbacks to college and fruit flies! We had to breed them and even got to nuke em to force mutations. I hated those flies! Sounds much cooler with snakes!
