A dark pin I need to show off
I haven't posted any additional threads about this little one since I first received him/her. I don't think I will have a project for this guy/gal, but every time I open its tub my eyes explode with awe. As you could imagine it fires up almost black but the orange on its dorsal and feet just pop with the dark base color. It really is a looker and I'm excited to see it grow over the year.

He/she is very cool. I'm sure you can find a way to work it into a project or use it to start a new one. :P

I bought the package of 10 geckos knowing that I would have to sell off some of them. I think it will all depend on how many females I end up with. It's going to be hard to decide which ones to sell. I've grown quite attached to all of them. Although I love crested geckos, I don't know how I feel about taking care of a hundred hatchlings throughout the year. I'd like to keep my projects small and specific. I'd like at least one really nice pin project, but I really want to focus on making the best reds/oranges and creams possible.

I've got this insane red super dalmatian that I can't wait to put to work. It's only 4 grams but it already has over 80 spots. Dalmatians, especially supers just get more and more spots as they grow.

There are so many colors and patterns to work with in cresteds, it's hard to just pick a few. I'm sure you know how difficult it is. :P

Lol, yeah I know what you mean. I'm hoping my three unknowns turn out to be females so I can use them in the two projects I want to work on. One being a trio of yellows/creams and the other a trio of darker colored geckos. The last three I think are just going to be pets. I can't bring myself to part with my first two and the last one I really have no interest in breeding. :P

Cresties are just as bad as ball pythons. They are too many color/pattern mutations to have them all and even if you only work with the ones you really like you'll get overwhelm quickly. >_<
