Ouch!!
DAMN it! I just got bit by my bp for the first time.. kinda sucked but scared me more than it actually hurt. Its my fault tho I was being a dumb ass and was putting raja and the mouse in his feeding cage at the same time. Im actually happy that it happened because now I know what its like.

There was a lil blood but not much raja is only 25 inches, and 200g. so he didnt have to much power on his bite. but its deff funny even right after i was laughing. But yea i feed my snake out of his cage because i have read a few places that feeding in a diff cage will reduce the risk of getting bit (I KNOW a lil ironic now) also with no bedding in his feeding cage it cant get in his mouth.

what you read was petstore myths to get customer's to buy extra caging.
Feed in the enclosure, and if worried about eating bedding use paper towels or newspaper for bedding. They can digest rodents bones, few pieces of wood is nothing.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
So, tell me again how feeding outside the enclosure helps with not getting bitten...
Seriously, now that you've been tagged for the first time you have to say it wasn't as bad as you thought it was going to be, right? It's just part of keeping snakes and a rite of passage.
However, I would urge you to begin feeding in the enclosure because it's easier on you and more importantly the snake. Trust me, if this happens when your BP is a 2500 gram adult, it won't be cute or funny.
I hope you don't mind if I hotlink this thread in future debates about feeding inside / outside the enclosure.
