Hey Guys, Recently just found my BP to have an RTI, has anyone had this with theres? And how did you sort this out?

See im thinking it was caused my cats playing behind her tank and few times they have knocked her light out, and in the mornings when i found it to be out her tank was freezing as it was over the winter here!

She seems normal and does her thing, but i noticed when i went to weigh her and notice it drip from her mouth.

Also read that they can mimic this? Is this true??

    The Serpent Merchant
I haven't ever heard that they can mimic RI.

You need to get your snake to a reptile vet as soon as possible, RI doesn't take long to kill a snake. the vet will need to do a culture to determine the cause of the RI (What type of bacteria/fungi) The vet will then prescribe a medication for your snake. It will very likely be shots that you will have to administer every day/everyother day.

In the mean time you need to make the cage a few degrees hotter than normal. (what is your normal cage temperatures)
