Shedding in pieces, how long to wait?
I've had my baby for 3 months and this is the first time she has shed. She didn't eat last week and yesterday while transfering her into a better environment I noticed that she had shed the first 1/3 of her body. The humidity in her old viv was about 65%, hense the reason I moved her, and when she was placed in her new home she circled the waterdish 4 times and drank each time. The humidity in her new home is at 80% and has lots of rough edges so I think she'll probably be ok but how long should I wait before helping her get all the shed off?

Update... I left Baloo alone in her new environment for 24 hours and she shed the rest of her skin. Right now she's eating and all is well.

Just for future reference, 65% was perfectly fine for a shed humidity. If her new home stays around 80%, there's an increased risk of bacterial and fungal growth, which can lead to scale rot and other issues. Oh, and make sure those "rough" edges aren't actually sharp or so rough she can injure herself (you probably already took that into account, but I hate assuming).
