Is what makes me think is that this is closely related to the problem in the Everglades. Though not as many Burms overrun the Glades, and they could have handled the problem in a more approriate manner than making everyone suffer.
Though atleast they are making use out of the Iguanas. I know that sounds bad.

I had no clue iggys were that destructive..
I have a buddy that grew up in Vieques. We visited PR a few years ago and saw these little ferret/mongoose things running around. He told me they were non-native and were wiping out native birds, snakes, frogs...... I wonder if they have launched an eradication plan against them?
