Best Way to Make Big Hides Cozy?
Hey there! :)
So I just got my Monster Tail BCI girl a few days ago and I've noticed she has yet to venture into her hide. In fact, she has yet to venture into half her enclosure. Someone mentioned to me in the pic of my enclosure, that the hide looked too large for her. Having seen her hiding between the water dish and the wall of the enclosure, I'm inclined to agree.
As such, I was wondering...what would be a good way to make the hide more secure/cozy for her? Can I add moss to it? Or a tube sock perhaps (since she arrived in one...)? :P If need be I can get her a couple smaller ones to replace the big one, but she seems to prefer to hide under her false foliage instead of under the hide anyway (Or on her climbing "tree")lol.
Any suggestions would be most helpful. ;)

I thought so. Just thought I'd ask. I may do moss so that I can easily turn it into a humid hide around shed time if need be. :gj:

Thanks! I had heard that boas don't spend much time in hides. In fact, my Dumeril is almost never in her hide. The only time she goes in there is for about 24 hours after she eats because the UTH is under it. Perhaps the same will be true of my BCI. The only difference is that the Dum burrows and the BCI climbs. lol.
