Will this be okay for taking temperature. I know I bought a thermometer already but I am feeling like I want to get a temp gun too. Something that I can take temps of both sides easily.

That temp gun isn't any more accurate than the thermometer that you already have is, and it will take temps of both sides.

If you want to be able to check anything, then sure go for it but personally don't see the point.

I mean I could use it for other things but I would mainly use it for the snake. I guess I shouldn't spend anymore money on unnecessary products. =P I just want to be extra careful.
