Inherited a rose hair tarantula yesterday
Actually never thought about getting a tarantula, but I could not say no to it. My ex-wife's brother was diagnosed with cancer and I guess they took him off his chemo and told him that he only had a few weeks or so to go. Anyhow, he wanted someone to look after his tarantula "critter" when he is gone and figured me and the kids would provide it a good home. How can you say no to someone's dying wish right? Anyhow, I picked "critter" up yesterday. So now, to go along with my 3 children, 22 BPs, 2 fat tails, 1 beardie, 2 dogs and 1 cat I now have one large arachnid to add to my zoo!

Oh my gosh, my condolences to ypu and your ex wife's family, that's heavy stuff! :(
On the bright side, congrats on the new furry spider! Rosies are practically bomb-proof, so you'll be able to enjoy with hardly any work. I'm sure you'll grow to love T's :)
