Good Starter Rack?

I'm wondering what a good starter rack would be? How many bins and of what size should I go with? I'm planning on getting a breeding age female this year, as well as getting 3 hatchling females to the female I've already got. I'll then get one or two males, possibly a breeder this year. So with that in mind what would be a good rack to go with? I like the way the boaphile ones look, but some people seem to not like them. I also like the Animal Plastics ones but there are so many configurations. What should I should for as far as #adult size bins vs #hatchling size? Any information would be appreciated.

I would go with the Animal plastics CB-70 7 shelf rack

Do those racks allow you to switch between the show box size to the blanket box size?

There are racks that have the ability to switch from hatchling to juvi by switching tubs. Boaphile makes one like that. Adult size racks are usually their own thing.

No, if you want that option go with the AP IRIS 375 rack

I would go with the animal plastic rack that holds sterilite 32 and 15 quarts tubs for now, it will allow you to keep hatchlings and adults.

Than when you really have large females over 2000 grams a rack with 41 quarts tubs will work great for those and the males will be able to be kept in 32 quarts tubs.

I kept and bred my animals in 32 quarts tubs for several years before transitioning my really large females to something bigger.

It's the IRIS 375 or the sterilite 1753 either will work

Id go with vision racks. The vision is so versatile. Plus the v18 tubs are so awesome. They are good for hatchlings up to like 500 grams. I have some visuons and love em. One of my vision racks has v18 tubs and cb70 in it. Uou can change em around and switch things up. Great product

I have two animal plastics racks and like them a lot. Affordable price and work well. I have one economy rack and one CB70 with dual side radiant heat. Before you get your rack, consider the ambient temps in your snake room. Don't get an open rack if you have cooler room temps. I made that mistake by getting the open rack. My husband had to insulate it for me, and I had to invest in a heater for the room. My CB70 with the dual radiant heat could maintain it's temps no problem.
