    i didnt relize how fast BP's grow ive only had mine about 25 days now and hes deffinatly looking a little longer and gained 28 grams

    Wait till it jumps 100g a month. And they grow about a foot a year but my girl has put on 7" in the last 3-4 molnths.

    I have found that they grow in bursts, but yeah I was susprized as well

    That's nothing, my carpet python grew 9" in less than a month, I was in shock lol

    If you feed every five days and feed @ 15% body weight. You wil be amazed on how much your bp will grow sometimes just overnight.

    They do grow fast! I had a few of my ball pythons at the pet store for a reptile "meet and greet" sort of day. One of the workers asked me how old the snake was that I was holding and couldn't believe how big my snake was at 6 months old compared to their snakes at the store. My response was "that's because I feed mine" with a smartbutt smile and the other employee said, "yeah, they get big if they eat for you" :rolleyes: It's the snakes at the pet stores that make people think they are slow growers! If you feed them often and the correct size, they grow like weeds!
