Small amounts of substrate usually don't cause problems when eaten.

The snake should be fine I am sure that in the wild the get stuff stuck to thier food all the time. My only question would be what type of substrate was it?
My snakes have all ingested small amounts of Eco Earth and have yet to have issues with that:P

Moss shouldn't be a big deal, it's best to avoid substrate being ingested so you don't have to worry. You can always put down paper towels or newspaper before you feed.
