    Lily update and question
I was just so excited. Lily just shed for the third time since I got her in Jan. She's gone from 24" to 28". Now if only I had a scale! Anyone have any suggestions where I can find an inexpensive scale? Preferably one I could go and get from a store, but I'm willing to look online too. I'm just anxious to find out how big she is! I know she's put on considerable weight! Just wanted to share! Did I mention I was excited?!

I got an food scale from walmart for about 9 bucks (it is not a digital). I figured it would give me a close enough number for my records and I would rather spend the money elsewhere.

That's great :) For a good digital scale, look for ads on Ebay from DigitalSnail. They have awesome prices(on ebay not on their website). I got a 35lb digital scale from them for $13+shipping. It weighs in grams/kilograms and pounds/ounces, and has a tare and a hold feature. I'll have to take Amani to Jenny Craig if she gets over 35lb... ;) Just be sure to check the person's reputation, and how many good reviews they have versus the bad reviews. Hope this helps a tad. :)

I am now the proud new owner of a digital scale for about $23 shipped. Now all I need is for them to ship it to me! I can't wait to find out how much Lily weighs! Isn't that just down right silly?!?!? Oh well I guess I am just sad and easily entertained! :imslow:

Not silly at all. I'm very much looking forward to picking up a scale and weighing my little one too here in the next couple weeks. It's awesome to see how much they grow! :D

Believe me, when you get that scale, it will be like Christmas happening all over again :) You will be weighing EVERYTHING. "Ooh, how much does this salt shaker weigh?"... Yep, that was me. Have fun with it, I know I absolutely love mine.

I can soooo see myself doing that! Here look if I put the salt shaker and two forks on the scale I can make it exactly 2 lbs..... You'll sure to know when I get it too, since I will be posting her weight as soon as I get my grubby little hands on it!

(Thanks guys for making me feel less freakish!)

me: now that i have weighed my bps, how much do all of my geckos weigh? how much does the cat weigh? how much does an empty can of soda weigh as opposed to a full one? how much does this chocolate bar weigh--i need to prove that their weight on the package is correct. and on and on and on.......
