    Isabelle has gone berserk!
I knew that my Isabelle was always very quick to nab up rats when I dropped them into her tub but this is a first:

Long story short, my boyfriend (this was his first time officially feeding the brood) dropped the rat into the opposite side of the tub (like I normally do), it got one look at Isabelle and turned away and started running to the corner. Isabelle, being the crazed feeding maniac that she is, latched onto the rats tail, dragged it back a bit (it was squealing the whole way) and the slammed her body down on it after dragging it to her side of the tub. I was worried that the rat had got her in the struggle of her wrapping around it because there was a pool of blood in her cage but it was from the rat's tail. I really REALLY wish she wouldn't turn her nose up to frozen, especially after she handled this last meal.

I got a quick picture of it; sorry in advance for the quality and the understandable rat poop:

My boyfriend and I were just like: :O:O:O because we knew that that rat suffered a little more than he should have. I guess that's just the nature of all this though. I did notice that one of the BPOM pics features a snake nomming on a tail so I was wondering, has anyone else had this happen?

I feed f/t, but I've still seen my friend's goofy red tail boa drag his (f/t) meal by the tail to his preferred dining spot, lol. The big male BP I'm fostering has also done that pose you have pictured, holding onto the tail while coiling. I don't think it's too unusual, though it is kind of awkward looking.

Good to know; I guess she's just getting sloppy with age! :P She's never done this before (and neither have my other ones).

The only experiences I have are death match between large mice vs. my brooksie king snake (which I have video) and that booksie king tear the tail off from f/t rat.
