Can someone give me an ideal average growth rate?
I cant find a growth chart anywhere. I just want ideal length and girth growth rates from hatching to to maturity.

Snakes grow at different rates, their growth depends on so many factors. As long as your snake is eating and gaining weight I would be happy.

There are so many factors that play into growth (genetics, husbandry, etc) that it is impossible to estimate growth rate. The health of a snake has little to do with its growth rate, and comparing growth rates of multiple snakes and worrying about how large one should be is not going to lead to anything constructive or healthy.

It is the belief of many that a slow growth rate is the healthiest way to raise a snake.

I was just curious. You replied to my other thread so you know about my weight issue. I was just curious about his/her age.

They all grow at different weights. If they are gaining weight and are healthy that is all that matters. For instance I have 12 2010's 1/3 are at 1200 grams and above another 1/3 are in the 650-900 gram range and the other 1/3 are around 500-650 gram range. It all depends on the snake, genetics, eating habits, husbandry, male/female, ect. Dont concern yourself with growth and shedding, you will just drive yourself crazy. Only be concerned with good husbandry, if they are eating, healthy, and regularly gaining weight no matter how insignificant.

You mentioned you got her/him around the 1st of this year: do you know how long the shop had it? Even if he/she is underweight (from the petstore feeding way undersized prey) I would still roughly guess that your little one is a '11 hatch.

That's my guess. I had been eyeing it since late December. So it had been there at least that long.
