    Getting new Leo
Hello all.. I am getting a 4yr old Female leopard gecko tomorrow, my question is this. I have a approx 3 month old leo, can I house them in the same tank?

It can be done, just monitor carefully and make very sure the three month old gets food. I personally recommend against it but your financial position could be restricting you to this.

Well the gecko is being given to me because the person that had it cant take care of it anymore so Im just unprepared for the arrival. I guess I could house the baby in a small tub but I really do not want to do that

You do not want to do that for many reasons, one of the most important being quarantine. I would highly suggest not doing so until they are closer to the same size and after a QT period.

I would not do it. One, QT is essential when getting a new animal. Two, the larger one will most likely eat all the food, hog the warm spot, and could even bully the smaller one. I honestly do not believe this to be a smart move.

Well.. I was going to put a pic up of my new leo, but for some reason I am no longer allowed to post attachments.... Not sure what that is all about. Anyway she is in her new home (Alone) and seems content, she ate well tonight.

Looks pretty small for four years old. I would not put them together. I've seen adults fight over food, I would not want to put a juvenile in that situation.

The choice is ultimately yours. You'll also want to make sure they are either both female or one male, one female.

She was a rescue, so she was not taken care of very well. And I did not house them together so all is well in that department.
