    Diseases spread by other animals
    Can balls be affected by diseases, mites, etc. that other animals may have?
    I am thinking about getting a hedgehog, and I didn't know if that would be safe to house them in my bedroom together.

    Anytime you bring in a new animal, you should always quartintine a new addition for 90 days. That being said for the most part mammalian issues will not effect reptiles, and reptilian issues will not effect mammals... But there are a few exceptions I'm sure.
