Next step: Small rack setup, or Animal Plastics T8?
I have one young ball python right now, but I definitely want to get more in the near future. I've researched the crap out of DIY racking, but I also like the idea of the Animal Plastics enclosures (T8 w/ divider).
Anyone have any input? I likely won't have more than 2-3 snakes over the next year, but I would like to breed a pair at some point.

I have two Animal Plastics racks, one I bought new and the other I found on Craigslist (9 slot 32-qt. Sterilite and an 8 slot Iris CB-70 rack). Both are in great shape and have held up very well, with the one (the Iris) having been in use in a commercial breeders business for several years before I got it. I'd say spend a little more money and buy a professionally-made rack; they hold their value and if you elect to sell them in the future, you'll get more back on that than what you would a DIY rack.
Ali with Animal Plastics is great to deal with and will walk you through any questions you might have if you elect to buy from them. They have a couple of styles that accept adult-size tubs as well as hatchling/juvenile-sized tubs in the same rack, so you wouldn't have to buy another one later on if you elect to breed in the future.
