    Where do you sell?
I'm not breeding, and currently have no plans for breeding, but I was curious:

How do y'all sell the snakes that you've bred?
What happens when you can't sell them?
    Where do you sell?
    For how much?

I know many users may have a website and breeding business, but I was wondering about breeders who don't. Do pet stores buy from you? :)

I think it would be adorable to have baby cornsnakes running around (yes, I'm aware this is about Ball Pythons - I have one of those too), but I'm not interested in breeding just yet...except for starting a dubia colony...and I know just what to do with those babies.., ;)

Kingsnake.com, my website, advertising on reptile sites, repeat customers, word of mouth.

You can also go to reptile shows in your area.

There are flippers that buy snakes wholesale...

You would have to check with your local pet stores to see what they might be interested in...

My other suggestion would be try craigslist. If youre worried about getting flagged just post an ad that says ball python morphs available. That should get some peoples attention.

I didn't have anything big last year, I put ads on craigslist, a pet store, and went to a couple animal swaps. All of my animals were sold before they were 2 months old. Some chain pet stores will take them, but it's generally easier to sell them to a locally owned pet shop.

I sell on KS, Fauna, here and on my own website, wholesale the normal to a reptile store in my area.

If they don't sell right away I raise them up until they sell.

Prices depends based on the species and mutation being sold.

I post ads on kingsnake and fauna, ballpythonsforsale.net, and every other reptile forum with a classified section that's got some activity. I also post on kijiji, hoobly, and oodle.

I go to local fall breeder expo each year, and have a table there.

I have previously sold some normal babies to local pet stores, but now there's only one reptile specialty store left in town, and he doesn't buy them, so I'm out of luck for that this year. (I snoop out the store carefully before I consider offering them ball pythons...I won't sell to stores with bad husbandry, of course). It doesn't matter--my normals are all gone now. I produce about 1/3 normals, and still sell them all before many of my morphs each year. Most go locally, but some folks will pay to have a good baby normal shipped to them as a pet--they appreciate having full records, and a fat healthy baby that's feeding well.

Prices depend on morph, quality, and market--you'll have to simply do your research each year.

I would expect to simply keep any animals I did not sell, but so far, it hasn't happened--I've sold every animal I've had up for sale before the next season's eggs arrive.
